The Trustate and DecisionVault integration makes it easy to bring in your client matters and financial data seamlessly, saving you time and ensuring consistency across platforms. Follow the steps below to get set up in minutes.
🔗 Step-by-Step: Connecting Trustate to DecisionVault
Step 1: Access Your Account Settings
From your Trustate homepage, navigate to the top right corner of the screen. Click your profile icon and select "Account" from the dropdown.
Step 2: Open Integrations
Within your account settings, click on the "Integrations" tab.
Step 3: Select DecisionVault
From the integration options, choose "DecisionVault" from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Authorize Access
You’ll be redirected to the DecisionVault login page. Enter your credentials and authorize Trustate to connect. Once you’ve successfully connected, you’ll be returned to your Trustate homepage.
🔄 Syncing Matters from DecisionVault
Step 5: Find the Sync Button
Scroll halfway down your Trustate homepage until you see the "Sync DecisionVault" button.
Step 6: Pull Matters Into Trustate
Click the button to pull all eligible matters from DecisionVault into Trustate.
Step 7: Choose the Matter to Import
A list of available matters will appear. Select the one you’d like to work on and click "Continue."
Step 8: Assign a Trustate Module
Next, choose the Trustate module that fits your matter.
For example:

For an estate planning client, select "Planning & Funding"

For a probate estate, select "Post-Death Administration"
💰 Syncing Financial Data from DecisionVault
Step 9: Open the Client’s Balance Sheet
Inside the client matter you just imported, navigate to the "Balance Sheet" tab.
Step 10: Use the Integration Button
Click the "Integrations" button on the balance sheet.
Step 11: Select DecisionVault
Choose "DecisionVault" from the dropdown menu. This will automatically bring in financial data (assets, liabilities, etc.) that have been entered in DecisionVault.

You’ve now successfully connected Trustate to DecisionVault, synced your matters, and imported financial data. From here, you can continue working your matter using Trustate’s automation tools to streamline estate administration or planning and funding workflows.
